Hickory Grove Campground
Annual Rental Agreement
Hickory Grove Campground is a unique place that is managed and maintained for the mutual enjoyment of those who camp and use its facilities. The following provisions will apply to all who wish to use the campground.
1. Campers and guests agree to obey the rules of the campground.
2. In order that all may enjoy the camping experience, there will be no disturbing of the peace. There will be no loud noises, loud music, noisy vehicles, fireworks, shooting guns allowed. No weapons of any kind are allowed in the campground. There will be no riding of 3 or 4 wheelers, motorcycles, minibikes in the park. Golf carts are permitted for campers 16 years and older with a drivers license and insurance. There is a maximim speed of 5 miles per hour in the campground for any vehicle.
3. All campers and guests are required to carry insurance on their campers and possessions. Campers and their guests agree to hold harmless the Hickory Grove Campground, Hickory Grove Recreation Area LLC, its managers , agents and employees from any liability from the use of the property. A copy of your insurance must be brought in when your yearly rent is paid.
4. Camping seasons begins April 1st and ends October 31st..
5. Campers are required to pay a meter charge for any electric and park usage on a monthly basis. during camping season and any other usage from Nov. 1 to March 31st.
6. Campers are responsible for maintaining their campsite and mowing grass on a regular basis. Failure to maintain campsite and lawn will result in management cutting site for $25.00 /cutting.
7. All campsites must be kept clean and clear of any junk, debris, garbage, tools, car parts, or any materials that would be unsightly or unsafe. Wood piles must be stacked neatly and away from any source of fire. Due to the presence of ash borer, the dnr requires the all firewood be placed on palletts and not moved from the park.
8.There is no storage of unused vehicles in the campgrounds. Any vehicle stored in the campground while the owner is not present will be charged a $15.00 per day charge.
9. Only one household family per site. All other relatives, friends etc. are considered guests and are to pay $3.00 per day per person for visitors over 18.. All guests must register before entering the park at the office.
10. At the end of the camping season, campers must clear site and clean up the area. Chairs and other items must be stored away to prevent blowing by winds in the winter.
11. If a camper sells his unit during the camping season, his or hers annual rent is not refundable nor transferable. Persons buying the camper will have to make arraingemnets with the manager for the balance of the camping season.
12. All dogs are to be kept on a leash at all times. Droppings are to be cleaned up afterwards. There are no vicious dogs, dogs that may bite or pit bulls allowed in the campground.
13. If a camper abandons his trailer and leaves the campground without renewing his lease, he is responsible for the next years annual camping fee in addition to all clean up fees, and all attorneys fees required to collect monies owed. The trailer and possessions will be sold for owed rent.
14. Failure to obey rules and/or terms of this agreement will result in the campers loss of use of the campground and facility without a refund.
